I. In order for our prayers to be effective, they must be made according to the scriptures.
II. Christians should pray always in every situation and throughout the day, staying in continual communion with God (1Th 5:17; Luk 6:12; Luk 18:1; Act 12:5; Eph 6:18; Col 4:2).
1. We should pray before bed and when we get up.
2. Children should see their parents praying regularly, both in private and as a family.
