Christian Identity Refutation (Part 2)

Christian Identity Refutation (Part 2) 1. CI Tenet #3: Nonwhites were tainted through race-mixing. A. There are no races, and therefore there is no such thing as race-mixing. B. God has no problem with people of different nations or skin colors marrying (Num 12:1, 7 c/w Jer 13:23; Rut 1:1-4; Rut 4:10). C. God forbade Israel from marrying the Canaanites because of their wicked religion and morality, not because of their “race” or skin color (Deut 7:1-5). 2. CI Tenet #4: The serpent in the story of the Fall was not a reptile, but the Devil himself. A. The serpent was a serpent that was animated by Satan (Gen 3:1, 13 c/w 2Co 11:3; Rev 12:9 c/w Rev 20:2-3). B. Similarly, Balaam’s ass was an ass that was caused to speak words given to it by God (Num 22:28). C. The serpent was cursed above all animals after the fall, being condemned to crawl on its belly and eat dust (Gen 3:14). 3. CI Tenet #5: The seedline of Cain came through a union of Satan (the serpent) and Eve. Eve was seduced by the Serpent (Satan), shared her fallen state with Adam by having sex with him, and gave birth to twins with different fathers: Satan's son Cain and Adam's son Abel. A. This is a lie. B. Adam was the biological father of Cain and Abel (Gen 4:1-2). i. Eve received Cain from the LORD, not from Satan (Gen 4:1). ii. Cain was “of that wicked one” (1Jo 3:12) and was a child of the devil through imitation (Joh 8:41, 44), not generation. iii. The elect are called “children of God” (Rom 8:16; Gal 3:26) and “sons of God” (Joh 1:12-13; 1Jo 3:1-2) because they bear His image and likeness spiritually through regeneration, but they are not the biological children of God through natural generation. iv. So it was with Cain who bore the image of Satan through his fallen spiritual nature (1Jo 3:10). C. Eve did not share her fallen state with Adam by having sex with him. i. Adam sinned by willfully eating the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil (Gen 2:17 c/w Gen 3:6). ii. This sin caused him to die spiritually the moment he ate the fruit (Gen 2:17). iii. Listening to Eve and doing what she suggested, not having sex with her, caused Adam to share her fallen state (Gen 3:17).
