What to Expect
We welcome you to visit our church. When you visit, you can expect:

A simple service

Our service is simple, as the pattern in the New Testament would have it, without the traditions and inventions of men. It usually consists of a 60-75 minute sermon full of scripture, acapella singing, and prayer. Every three months we observe the ordinances of communion and feetwashing (only members participate, but visitors are free to observe).

We never pass the plate for offerings to try to guilt people into giving. We do not embarrass visitors by drawing attention to them or announcing their names to the congregation during the service as is sometimes done in other churches.

An emphasis on learning

In keeping with the declared purpose of the church and the ministry (Eph 4:11-16), our service is focused on learning, instruction, and edification (building up) of the church with the intent of bringing us all to a more perfect understanding of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Family integrated worship

As there is no basis for Sunday school or "children's church" in the Bible, our worship service is attended by the whole congregation, including children.
